The Salt Galata building is a landmark unique to İstanbul with surprisingly distinct architectural styles — neoclassical and oriental — applied on opposite facades. French Levantine architect Alexandre Vallaury designed the original building in 1892. The redesign of the building is undertaken by Mimarlar Tasarım.
Salt Galata is organized to enable a challenging, multi-layered program that includes Salt Research, an Auditorium, the renovated Ottoman Bank Museum, Workshop spaces, an Open Archive, a temporary exhibition space as well as a Café, Restaurant and Bookstore. For this project, Jaga’s Low-H2O radiators Mini and Mini Canal were chosen. Both radiators are equipped with the Jaga Low-H2O heat exchanger made of super-fast conducting copper and aluminum.
The ultra-modern heat exchanger rapidly transfers the heat to the room. Low-H2O radiators react faster to heat demand and offer more comfort with a lower energy consumption.
